Video Bypass Problem
Hello fellow Orgers!! So I just finished doing the bypass mod for my SV NON NAVI model ( i have the monitor package though), and I for some reason Im still not getting a picture on my screen. Im using my verizon iphone 4 via the usb port and nothing, i also tried it with regular component cables and still nothing =(. I know for a fact I did everything down to a T. Do I need a certain set of cables or something?? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
No special cables...
Are you on the AUX?
Did u ground the Ebrake wire coming from the stereo? NOT THE ONE GOING TO THE CAR.
Did you snip the VSS wire?
Did you tape up all the ends?
Did you cut the correct wires?
Does video work when your in park with Ebrake on?

Sorry for the late reply, I've been a busy man. Everything you mentioned I have done and rechecked. The only solution I think could be possible is to purchase the Apple Component cable that has the 3 RCA Jacks that has the single speaker jack on the other end and also has the charger cable as well. I know it wants to work because the previous RCA cables I used played audio perfectly but the picture was black and was distorting like it wanted to play, but there was some sort of interference obviously. I'll check back as soon as I grab the cables but if you come across anymore diagnostics fill me in please and thanks!
I have bought the Component cables and I see video but no audio.. can any one help? this is with the car on w e brake.. I havnt done the bypass... and I'm using official apple cables... the audio seems to come from the iPhone itself when I remove the USB port from the center console
