dead battery

so idk if this is because i got my HID fogs installed yesterday and they connect to the battery, or because it was 111 degrees in ny today, but i go out to my car and the battery was dead today, i didn't leave my fog switch on nothing else was left on so i gotta imagine the OEM finally gave out its been over 2 years with added mods, just gonna let it sit in the driveway and call AAA tomorrow for a jump before i replace the battery, im told the optima red tops are the way to go, a little pricey but worth it, any suggestions?

im hoping maybe just the excess heat gave it problems, when AAA comes ill have em test it and see if i need a new one or not, but for $150 for the optima red top which i know will give me at least 5 years i might just switch regardless, OEM battery ur lucky over 3
