I haven't seen exactly this problem before here on the 7th gen board.

During hot weather, I crack all four windows about four inches using the driver's door switches every time I park the car (except when parking in my garage). I would guess I have done that an average of three times a day between mid-April and late October for the last two and a half summers. So far, I have never had any kind of problem.

For those who may wonder if cracking the windows four inches lets rain in, I have rain guards that prevent rain from reaching that four inch gap.

My first guess would be the same as michael454rs; driver's door switch.

While I haven't experienced this in my 09, I did once experience this in my old 300M. Toggling between down and up a few times (ok a dozen) seemed to free it up. Unlike Light, I didn't then and don't have rain guards on my Max but had the issue you described after rain soaked the switches once.

Tried looking for a master switch at thr junkyards but the bastards wanted 100 dollar for the part. This was for my 03 looke at some for an 02 and 01 but are different. Mine was the same as 04 and on.

Common Issue? Disconnect Battery?

I had this happen to my then '07 Altima - I could roll it down with driver's panel but not up - but rear passenger control could bring it back up
here is the link to that thread were others seem to have had this issue as well

http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/200...ow-switch.html

and this:

From the look of things, it's not as simple as resetting the up/down on the auto windows but more of a main-switch issue. Others seemed to have luck with disconnecting the battery. I don't remember but I think my issue resolved itself - one day it just worked

my windows are stuck down and it is snowing outside. Couldnt get care started so I was chacking fuses under hood when I leaned on key in pocket rolling all my windows down.

******PLEASE HELP**********************************

Help I have a similar problem. Yellow key light on. Cant turn on the accessory. Cant roll up windows (hard key doesn't work). I live in Alaska. 100 MILES FROM THE DEALER.

I've changed the car battery, the primary fob battery, and have tried the back up fob.

My brake lights do work.

I've noticed that the steering wheel lock is not engaging though.

All the while, though, the yellow light stays on while I'm seated in the car with either or both keys.

Yes I've tried to sit key in key boot. without any changes. Not even sure why they put that in the car.

And Yes, I've checked all the fuses.
