aftermarket air filters...fitment suks ballz

and my original oem air filter didn't look bad so it looks like I'll be returning this fram air filter

I have a K&N drop in, fits perfectly, maybe you bought the wrong size, but it is a tight fit, gotta get the door on right before you get it in and closed

Yeah I agree, they can be difficult, but you want a nice tight seal around it to keep the chance of "blow-by" from occurring.

K&N caution

Don't use the oil on the filter. The oil can blow onto the sensor on the MAF along with dirt and then you have problems.
