Vinyl wrap for engine cover???

Thsi may sound crazy but I see alot of guys painting the engine covers but what about a high heat resistant vinyl wrap?? What are your thoughts? Possible?? I mean the design possibilities are infinite and we could do some really cool stuff. I have seen firewalls on hot rods with vinyl wraps.

If it's high heat it should be perfectly fine.

It can withstand the heat on the engine. I painted my engine over and on the big piece in the middle that has the Nissan emblem, I used black matte vinyl to wrap it and its holding the heat great. It's been a year n half now n no problem

yeah its a little cheesy. I think i may just do the flames on all of the plastic covers under the hood. I really dont know yet. This has to have some thought. I welcome any ideas. I just figured flames under a hood on a black car all blacked out would be pretty cool.

I think i'm just prejudiced against flames from the overuse of them on EVERYTHING when i was a kid. Personally i was just going to do my covers in k50 with red accents like the rest of my car. Might as well keep the color theme going.

Dark Slate color code.

Dunno maybe you can do them black with blood running down them heh. My creativity is at 0 right now.
