Model Year End Clearance Lease ? Posible?

Is it possible anyway (since I see every one getting tremendous offers of 6-10k $ off sticker prices) to get a lease of a 2011 Maxima SV w/ Sports Package + Monitor Package, I guess ill leave out the technolegy package since it increases the payment /month by about 20$. I would be willing to put down 2-3k$ down.

+ I am young and hope i can spend either 300 or below. I see there is a deal on Nissan Maxima S for 280 a month with money down however there are NO add-ons.

Thank you So much in advance!

Might as well look into either paying more and buying a new one or buying a preowned/used 09 or 10, and your probably gonna want to mod it, so might as well do some digging, find a nice used one in good shape, put 2-3 down, pay it off in 3 years and not have to worry about taking all the mods off in 36 months

You aren't going to be able to find a deal on the Max of any trim level for 280 or similiar a month, and good luck finding a used 09-11 for those monthly payments unless you have a huge amount down payment!

hm i beg to difffer http://local.nissanusa.com/new-york-area/index.html ; i know that the monitor package and screen raise lease bill by 8$ a month, and sports package raises it by 20, So i should be able to get this for some change over 300. Has anyone heard of this?

That's for an S model with $3000 down. After taxes, the payment is already at $300 and you haven't stepped up to the SV yet which is almost $3000 more taking your payment to $330 and you still don't have the Sport & Monitor packages.

well since you were able to get that deal, I am hoping that I can get a 2011 Maxima SV w/ Monitor + Rear Spoiler which MSRP comes out to $36,285. Since it is the end of the year and + associates are usually willing to haggles, I can hopefully get this for around 300 / month so there is no real MAJOR package driving up the price. You got your Sport + Technology Package for the 322.. my setup costs about 3,500 $ less MSRP so I wonder what they can do for me.

Leasing is a game, its like following the stock market but at times you can get lucky, its possible to get the car you want for the price you want but don't expect to walk into a dealer on the 1st try and get it.

Also most importantly, sg1214 credit rating reflects his lease payments, did he co-sign, what was the cap cost of the car, also what is the buy out, just cause he has an SV sport and tech does not mean he negotiated the deal on a higher priced car, the dealer he went to could have just wanted to move cars and gave him a lease deal of a base Maxima but he got a loaded one, happens all the time.

Where do you live, just do a search, G25 going for 199, G37 at 259, don't know how these cars retain value but whatever

i am aware of that, a Spoiler and Monitor are not very costly and the MSRP is still pretty low and to my understanding dealers are trying to make room for 2012 models so I am thinking in early October I can proboblly make this deal for something 300 or below hopefully. And my mother -_- would be leasing it in her name with her perfect credit so I can get the best deal possible. Before I hear why do i care about price if my mom is paying... SHE IS ONLY making downpayment, and paying insurance, Gas and Monthly Payments are on me.

I think he has a shot at it. Two weeks ago my lease deal for a SV sport, tech, monitor (The MSRP was $40,010) was $2k down, $320 a month for 39 mos. (No BS there - that was my deal.)

FWIW, I am in the northeast.

Peace,

I think it is quite possible.... the deal im looking at right now is a 2011 Maxima SV with premium, tech, rear spoiler, floor mats, and splash guards for around $341 a month with only $1500 down. Here is the breakdown

MSRP- $41,100
Actual- $35,054
Residual- 55% with 12k miles a year for 36 months
Money Factor- .00022
Tax- 8%
Down- $1500
Monthly payment- $341.81

good deal, i am pretty confident that with my 39 month lease term, 2500 down payment and lack of premium, tech, I should get a deal either 300/ month or a hair above or below that. Monitor only adds 700 to MSRP because it has no navigation and is just a basic tech package and the spoiler is very cheap!

If I was you I would go to nissanusa.com and build your Maxima and check your local dealers inventory in advance so you know what models and options they have in stock, as the model year ends the inventory will continue to diminish. I found this tool to be fairly accurate especially during the work week.

Just my 2 cents and a word of warning. If you're close enough to the line that $50 a month would make or break you i probably wouldn't do it even if it was $300. Something always inevitably happens to make the previously "affordable $300" turn into a quick "unaffordable $300". I don't mean to preach. Just a word of warning.

Is that payment of 341.81 with the tax included

thank you this is actually really helping.

Does anyone know if you can have a spoiler added at the dealership if there is a car on the lot that you want?

Yes it is. And im sorry it is actually $355 a month. I put in the wrong residual rate.

Even with no money down and .00022 money factor and 55% residual rate off of a $41,100 fully loaded maxima SV premium with tech, spoiler, mats, and splash guards, the lease price would only be $400 a month with 0 down. I wonder if money factor is different for you all.

Yes I'm having my spoiler installed by my dealer next week. I purchased it from CourtesyParts.com and saved a few bucks. With my 09 I purchased the kit from e-bay and it was fine also.

Your numbers are not adding up to me, not sure if it is a typo or if I am missing something.
If the actual price is $35054 and you will use 45% of the value (1-0.55 residual) then you will consume $15774 of the car value, divide that on 36 months and you have $438 (before tax) so not sure where the $341 came from even after applying the $1500 down, which will result in $36 reduction in each payment. Can you or someone else explain please?

According to the dealer the residual is based off msrp of the vehicle not the actual price.

That's half the fun. I pick out a brand new car every 3 years. Even when I was young & buying used cars, I never kept one longer than 3 years. I'm always looking for the next best thing.
I'm 40 & I've had 12 different cars so far.

I've spent to much on leased cars, Im not gonna convince myself I was having fun, I needed a car and usually leased one that I could afford the payment, but now at 32, Im saving up to buy a house when I should have the money, if I get to 40 and have to tell myself I enjoy leasing a Maxima cause it's fun I will officially kill myself

That would even make the monthly payment higher. Can someone answer my main question?

If ur paying over 400 for a Maxima and you have good credit, theres a problem.

That actually makes the payment lower.
because u figure 55% of an msrp of $40,000 would be $22,000 and say the negotiated price is $35,000, you would only be paying $13,000 over 3 years.
MSRP-(1-.55)

now say you take 55% off the negotiated price of $35,000 that would be 19,250. so u subtract the $35,000 from the $19,250 and you would be paying $15,750 over 3 years.

I know that is confusing so here it is

sorry its so small.

If the lease deal does not come through in the next few weeks, always fall back to xmas/winter time when car sales dramatically slow down, when cars don't sell they push them harder, especially in the northern areas

I got mine 300 including tax per month, 39 months and 12k mi/yr. I put $2000 TOTAL out of pocket and have two yrs free maintenance...

I recalculated my lease now, if I got the car now, it would be about $2-3 higher since they don't have the $500 available anymore.

try legendleasing.com for those in the NY, NJ area. I didnt get it from them because I got it even cheaper than they were advertising, but they are legit as my friends got it from them.
