Positive MAXIMA owners
I bought my wife a 2011 SV with the sports package a couple of months ago. She had been driving our altima se since 04, the car still looked and drove like new and was fun to drive but I could tell she was getting bored with it. I got her the pearl white and she loves it. I haven't done much to the car yet but it's in the works. I've debadged the back of it, tinted the windows and replaced all the interior lights with LEDs. The car drives great, it's a little rough but thats to be expected with the sport suspension. It's pretty peppy but she wants it to be faster. She likes to go fast and I don't have to twist her arm to get performance upgrades done to anything we own, which is a good thing. I've noticed the car seems to have a few blind spots so as long as your aware of them and look before you do something, your fine. I like the interior, lots of room, good sound system, and fit and feel are great. I'm sure she will be keeping this on for a while.
Mine was bought brand new in 2008 with over 70K on it.
I like the fact that the past 4 years Nissan Maxima has won the Residual Value award 4 times strait. I lease my cars and I'm sure glad to see the value up around 61%!!
ALMOST 8 MONTHS OLD WITH ABOUT 8300 MILES...

those awards are kinda meaningless.
it's all about what buyers are willing to pay for it vs other cars out there. buyers will always consider resale value as a big deciding factor when purchasing a car.
however, it does seem like the 2009+ maxima's are holding up really well in price. You can't find many used a35's under the 20k range right now, where as a year and a half ago, there were a whole bunch of them.
seems like the market is finally realizing the true glory of this car.

I have no desire to trade up though and I'm satisfied with what God gave me.
