Ok so when im playing my iphone threw my usb port in my car it plays fine except for a crackingf sound threw out the song..Not the whole time but hear and there. At first i thought my speakers where going but its only when im using the usb port. The radio is fine. I bought a new usb wire for my ipod thinking the wire had a bad connection but still does the same..Any ideas or advise?

Hi! I'm not sure how the interface works that you are using, but the crackling could be caused by the volume control on the ipod/iphone being too high which can cause distortion on the louder portions of the audio.
Good luck!

my itouch does the same thing. its pretty intermittent so i cant figure out why it does it. hasnt done it in awhile but a couple months ago the dealer updated the nav software. so you might wanna go to the dealer and ask them to check and see if there's any updates to the software.

I've had this problem too. I switched out my ipod with my gf's iphone and it works just fine. I think that some just arent "compatible" 100%
