No auto up on power windows after a battery change...trying to remember procedure

This happened last time I changed batteries and there was a some combination of actions on the driver's side window controls that solved the problem, but I forgot to write them down. It was something simple like holding all four window switches up or down for a certain number or seconds, but haven't had any luck yet. Does anyone know the secret?

Thanks

Sometimes the moon roof requires similar action after the battery has been disconnected.
