Footwell Lights

Can someone tell me if there is a way to remove/replace the footwell lights with minimal effort? I have a 11 Max SV and i am interested in replacing the stock and with LED blues.

You need to twist them. They will pop right out.

did yours twist? mine just pulled out... literally... no twisting... i think it has a 194 socket...

the actual housing is also easily removable... but i did not mess with it as my hands are too big that it was a bit hard for me to put a tiny LED bulb back in...

Is there a way to make the footwell lights turn on while driving? They are only on when the door is open.

they are easy man, you dont even have to pull them out of the panel, (if you want too, you can just twist btw) all i did was pull the bulb out and insert the new one, just dont squeeze or they pop and cut you. Rocking 20 SMD leds in each one.

yeah you could rewire them so they're connected to a relay that you add to the car. might void some electrical warranties but you could independently control them
