Hi Everyone,
I know the biggest way to change the appearance to your Maxima would be to add rims, but besides that, what are some other features you guys have added to your Maxima to make it look better?! Im still having an inner debate about adding rims to my Lil Mama, but I would just like to hear what others did to enhance the appearance without adding rims to it. Any & All info will be greatly appreciated!

Yea, those are all good ideas, but I guess Im just looking for a way to make her look mean but with an edge of girly-ness, without looking like I went over board with everything. Have you added all these to your vehical or know anybody thats changed their car and it still look nice?

Don't forget caliper paint. Use a good 2 part system (like D2).
Just remember cleaning and prep before applying the paint is of upmost importance.
Also the front licsence plate. I re-mounted mine lower, over the opening. Gives it a cleaner look I think.

first i would drop her and add the front lip. Classy and aggressive IMO.

you asked a pretty broad question. usually people who like the aggressive look just add the Stillen lip and lower the car, definitely does a lot for the look

The problem with a picture now is the weather here (Sea) has been raining/snow and the car hasn't been washed/waxed for about a week and a half.
I'll post a picture if I can get it cleaned.

Now posted below.

I know, I'm probably the only 7th gen owner with purple painted calipers.
I ended up mixing D2 purple with black to get a better color than the straight D2 purple.
The end product looks quite good and contrasts well with the Crimson Black color of the car.

In addition, the front plate is now mounted below the stock location retaining the original mount which was fliped upside down and modified to fit into the lower lip contour.
It was reattached with additional homemade brackets.
(I'll try and edit in a better picture of the plate tomorrow).

What do you all think that powder-coat black or grey wheels on an Artic-white would look? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Actually just do a search within this forum and check out some members rides with the Winterfrost cars. They show quite well with the wheels you are inquiring about.

A lot of chrome is not my thing but good job on the mods. Crimson black was my original choice but the dealership back in July did not have any in stock. Are your going to drop it?

Thanks.
Yes, I plan on dropping it but probably not for a couple years until I can get another vehicle I can drive in the snow.
I also fought really hard to go with the black chrome PVD wheels but the wife won out (her money paid for them).
I will at some point wear her down and get wheels I want and she can live with.

I Am Going to get the Stillen Lip. I haven't purchased it because I am not sure where to get this painted on Long Island. 09LongislandMaxima, I am by your area, where did you have it done and did you install it yourself?

I am going to my guy also to get my Headlights Tinted (Probably Smoked so 30-50%) Nothing to Crazy. If I don't like it, then I'll remove them!
