Picture request please

Hey guys, Im thinking of removing the MAXIMA and NISSAN emblems off the back of the car. Does anyone have pics of theirs done? Im not sure what if I want to do it, seems like the *** would look too naked. But I've seen it on other vehicles and it looks pretty cool. Help me decide please.

***Rear

Thanks,
Dan

There's a few threads on this already. They look better with the Nissan symbol still there though. Here's mine

I agree with Ryan, It looks better with the symbols on. Just Black them out or leave uhm how they are. Don't be ashamed of the Maxi :O

Something like this.

I saw a VW with a Plastidip front emblem, but not the rear emblem, Looked very weird. Try it out, if you don't like it just plastidip the front too. It all depends on the color of the car and the owner.

Wow, that looks nice and clean. Anyone have it removed on a lighter color car?

Keep the burger, lose the maxima if you're going to do it at all IMO it looks better that way.

I immediately took the Nissan emblem and the Maxima off of my car the day after I bought it.

Soooo glad that I did, it looks amazing without those emblems and having people guessing what kind of car mine is when they drive by is fun

I used fishing line and a hair blower, kept the heat at an entry point and forced the line in, once you pass the entry point, zig zag your way through. If it get stuck, stop and continue applying heat at that point and keep on zig zagging. Don't afraid of scratching your paint you won't, not with the fishing line at least.

Agreed. I prefer it this way also.
It's fun to keep them guessing but I don't want people to think it's anything other than a Nissan as they see my MAX pulling past them.

I removed mine just to keep the back even (since there isn't anything on the opposite side of the back).. But my license plate frame says Maxima & I have a plate on the front that says Maxima so everybody knows what it is :-D

what about shaving it all and slapping this on. I'm thinking of slapping these Nismo emblems on my fenders where a side marker light would usually be.

pretty classy I'd say, however this would not match well with billet grilles and diamond studded wheels.

Well, all I can say is I wish Nismo did more for this maxima than all the little trinkets.
At least have something beneath the logo if you know what I mean.
