Hi Guys,

I've Dynamatted the crap out of my trunk and trunk lid, but the trunk lid is still making noise. What I've noticed is when hard bass hits, the trunk lid moves and it makes noise from the trunk lid. After some observation, if I press down on the trunk lid, it doesn't make any noise. My question is, is there a way to make the trunk lid close tighter?

You guys with systems, what have you done to elimate trunk lid rattle?

 

i dont have a system, but i woudl imagine you could add a thicker rubber gasket...just thinking out loud here

 

Might be a good idea. Or just put an extra couple of layers where the trunk meets the gasket.

Also you could try venting the trunk more so the sound isn't trapped in the trunk. try removing the 6x9s
