Metal Pedals
Metal Pedals
I couldn't find anything regarding metal pedals for the 7th Gen. Anyone know of any good ones or are there any from another Nissan/Infiniti model that will work for the 7th Gen Maxima brake and accelerator pedals?
After some more digging in the online parts catalog I found a brake pedal cover that ought to fit. It's used on various automatic transmission Nissan and Infinitis with sport packages ranging from the Sentra SE-R, up to the M56. P/N# 46531-JK00C. I should be able to pop off the existing rubber pad and install this one. All the models that this one are built with use the same part on their non sport package models as all Maximas use. Why the Maxima SV sport package doesn't have metal pedals is a tad odd to me, but it's not the first or the last time they do strange things.
Still trying to figure out something for the accelerator, as the pad is not a separate piece like it is with the brake pedal. Requires replacing the entire pedal assembly. The only other model I have found using the same part is the Altima and it doesn't seem to have a medal pedal option either.
Random interesting thing I noticed is the Nissan online parts catalog refers to the SV w/ sport pkg as a SR and the SV w/prem pkg as a LE.
