2010 Driver's Seat Rocking!!!

So the seat has been fixed 3 times and is broken AGAIN!! Seems like when they fix or replace the seat frame it is good for a few months and then right back there again!!
Very frustrating..... Any one else having this issue??

i know how frustrating that can be, mine did that and I took it to the dealer and they said it was from the tracks (seat track) , they replaced it and I have not had the issue since (knock on wood) lol

Learn to live with it, I just think of mine like the seats in the E60 M5, when you corner hard to the left the side bolsters on the right inflate, and vise vera, I just keep that thought in my head when I feel the seat move

Mine does it Alittle also. I just deal w it. Not worth letting the dealership make it worse or damage my car trying to fix it.

And thats part of the problem now too because they have taken it apart so many times now the plastic trim pieces do not stay on correctly!!! Looks like crap.

Guess I'll just keep trying to get them to fix it and keep making my lemon case stronger, LOL

and i was thinking i was in the rare who had the seat "fixed" but the fix only lasted a few months...
stupid issues like this really make me reconsider Nissan when my lease is up. I didn't have a SINGLE problem with my last lease ('07 Honda Accord EXL V6)

I would rather keep the positive outlook and think, my seat rocks a little so my trans will never break, its either one or the other

hate to be the bearer of bad news but my 2011 sv sport is in the dealership as we speak for this annoying rocking chair driver seat so if the question is does it happen to 2011's my answer would have to be Yessir...

You'd think, since this issue has been reported on every model year since the very first 09 rolled out of the factory, they could have possibly found a fix by now.....

Quick question , the dealer just called me and told me"we ordered the seat track and it will be in next week" is this going to fix the problem or will I be back in 3 to 6 months?

50/50. Mine and some others were totally replaced and the problem was gone forever (so far)

Others have done it multiple times and it's come back each time....

Just went in today because my seat was rocking, guy told me it would be $1700 to replace the seat frame cushion or something like that. Said it was not covered by my Nissan extended warranty which is the supreme coverage. This is some BS. I thinking about calling the warranty company myself or writing a letter.

4th Seat Frame

I dropped my seat to the floor and took out the front tilt I had set it to. I thought that by letting the seat rest on the floor rails, I would reduce the stress on the frame. So far....no more rocking. It would be nice if I could adjust my seat height, but at least I need not change the seat frame again.
