I've been searching trying to figure out if the 2010 has an in-line fuel filter. Or any type of fuel filter that should be routinley changed. Does anyone know? I'm going to get my oil changed monday and would like to avoid having to ask the service place if I need to do this...

 

pretty sure this is under the back seat in the gas tank, part of the fuel pump, probably like the 6th gen

At the service bay now. There is not a serviceable fuel filter. It's inside the tank.

 

fuel filter is 1 unit with the pump...and it doesn't clean itself....

 

I think the idea would be it's good until the pump goes out since the level of work involved would make it a several hundred dollar job just to change a filter...

 

So then, choose your time and fuel stations carefully??
