Maxima Vs Acura TL

Hey guys, this dude keeps saying his 2007 manual transmission TL can beat the 09 Maxima. I was defending that the Maxima can whoop his ***. I want to race him but i got work all week untill Saturday. I was just wondering who would win guys?

Well you got an extra 30 hp if you go but almost 100lbs more. If he knows how to drive he should take you but only by a very small margin. I am asuming you will race him on the track because if you were dumb enough to do it on the street, then im sure you would understand when you are banned if you brag about it here.

Just saying....

if its an 07 mt it's a type s, which is 287 HP. They are no joke. AT vs AT its a close race, but the MT will most like pull on the Maxima.

Agree. I think that the Type S, once the VTech opens up, would pull away on the Maxima. Maxima just too heavy.

We've been using an emergency runway off the main Bremerton airport since 1959 for bracket racing. The obvious problem is they don't want you blowing too far past the 1/4 mile marker as it starts to encroach toward the main airstrip. They say it is a permit issue and I understand that completely.

No AWD model with the previous gen TL and the 6spd was dropped in the base TL after the 06 model year. So this car must be a Type S 6spd, off the line you are toast, you may gain some in the mid range but once you get over 80/90 ish the CVT makes the Max fall flat on its face and he will pull a bit more.
