32mpg....OH YEAH!!

Following an F350 with 25' enclosed trailer and 8 bikes on board on the way to Myrtle Beach made for a VERY fuel efficient drive. 212mi and 6.63gal for 31.9mpg.

This is with VERY VERY slow acceleration up to any speed. If speed limit was 65 we went 64, if it was 55 we were going 54 if it was 70 we were going 65....that and very gentle acceleration. I kind of didn't believe it myself, however the AVG MPG on the info display said 31.7.

Late,
Trav

Wow. That's awesome. Good stuff!

I like to do 5 to 10 over the speed limit on the interstate and I'm looking at 26 mpg.

I'd NEVER see that kind of mileage in my Max as long as my right foot works properly!!! Good for you!

Yeah...the MOST I have seen without being forced to drive economically is like 28mpg. I can average 30 for a while....but then my right foot starts itching. Plus....after moving from Arizona @ 5000-7500ft elevation, it has SO MUCH more power down here at this lower altitude.

However, I was forced to drive VERY fuel economically and it is pretty good to know that these vehicle are very capable of this kind of economy. I usually average low to mid 20's.

Trav

I've had mine for about a month and a half and the average for that time has gone up to 23 for all types of driving.

the vq35 engine makes a huge difference in MPG between stop and go traffic vs steady highway 65mpg speed.

If u don't drive much freeway and do mostly city, expect 20 mpg, if u do a lotta highway steady speeds u can expect 30 mpg.

How do you reset the mileage computer? I don't want to break open the 8-inch thick manual again.

Scroll through with the square button and then once you're on it hold down the "DOT" button and it should reset for you...

On my Eagle RS-A's I'd easily get 31mpg doing a steady 70-80mph.

Now with my Michelin Pilot Super Sports... Average about 26 mpg doing the same speeds

Ah well, I'll take the insane lateral grip over 3mpg any day
