iPhone mount?

Looking to buy a mount for my iPhone 4 in my 2011 Maxima. Anyone have any suggestions or pics of your setup? I've been looking @ both Proclips and Ram Mount. I'd like to have it somewhere near the cup holders/center console so that I can plug it in using the iPod cable. I'd also want it to rotate for landscape when using the GPS drive app.

Thanks for the help!

I've got the full color screen, but no NAV. I don't think I'm being too picky...just want a clean look & tired of the plugged in iPhone in the cup holder or sliding off the center console. There HAS to be someone here with a recommendation on a mount.

I have this, you can "mount" it anywhere where that there is a gap between panels or you can stick it in the CD player slot (no bueno)

I went with the X-grip from RAM Mount. I'll post some pics & let y'all know what I think. I've used some of their mounts @ work & they are quality. Their suction mounts will seriously stick to just about anything.

ive heard good things about the Proclip and Ram Mount for phones

if you have a tablet you want docked instead though, check out the Padholdr - it fits all tablets (had adjustable spacers) and doesn't require modification thats visible, you can uninstall it and leave no trace of it since it bolts behind the head unit

Ghozt,

Can you post a link and a few pics of your tablet in the car??!! I had considered mounting my Iphone, but think I rather mount the Ipad and have videos to watch on the bigger screen!!!

Thanks Ghozt!!!! Now I'll have to put my mind to the table and figure out a way to run Sirius through my Ipad and also find a way to charge my tablet in the holder......

Here's pics of the RAM Mount X-Grip with locking cone suction mount base. Overall, I am satisfied...the suction is no joke and is VERY secure. Bought them both from gpscity.com, out the door with shipping $31.49---found a 5% off online coupon. They also make a iphone specific holder that looks clean, but you can only use it with a case-less iphone. The thing that is nice about the Ram Mount is that you can easily move it from vehicle to vehicle...nice if you travel so you can slap it in your rental car.

Nice I think I am going to be getting this. Do you have the link by chance for the base?

Never mind I think this is it:
