Why cant someone in the aftermarket wolrd come out with a freakin decent sounding full exhaust for these 7th gen maximas?? The borla is too quiet and sounds raspy, the magnaflow sounds way to quiet also, the stillen sounds good on the 370z's but why not the Maximas??
Seriously if anyone has any tips or videos on this topic please post them so I can check them out, thanks!

 

the Borla is actually the opposite of raspy, it's very quiet and subtle.

my guess (regarding the sound) is because we have a single exhaust. if you want your car to sound like a 370z you'll want to go with a custom true dual exhaust from the manifold back

anything is possible if your pockets are deep enough. one way to find out is take it to a good exhaust shop put it on the lift and see what they think. but yea true dual meaning no Y pipes but an X or H pipe instead

 

I have a Custom Apexi Universal Exhaust on my car, it sounds amazing and loud! It has a tone of a V8 C63 AMG no joke. I have the old video of my Axleback only on youtube. Search my name VQPwr88 and you'll see them. I just installed my full cat-back and it sounds amazing turn heads like every second! the price for it is $400 in change... lol peice of cake.

It connect's to the headers I think and all the way down to the back no resonator.
