Drivers Window won't roll down?!?!
Drivers Window won't roll down?!?!
Pretty weird as it just happened this morning. All other windows work. However, when I attempt to roll down my driver's side window, the window budges a smudge, then nothing. When I hit press the button for it to go up, it budges up a smudge, then done. After several attempts, it then doesn't do anything?
The drivers controls work for all the other windows, but not the driver's window. Am I looking at a switch here? Window regulator (which I doubt)? Can I get to the switch without taking the door off reset it or test it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to take it to the dealer
Thanks,
Nathan
p.s. Sorry I just joined this forum since I got my 09 Maxima a couple of months ago. I am sorry that this is my first post.

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I'm experiencing pretty much the same thing right now. I changed my battery, and was resetting my auto-up. Passenger auto up/down reset with no problems, and is working fine. Rear windows are working fine, but my drivers side window starts to go up, gets "stuck" randomly, then doesnt go up or down at all for several seconds... then it'll randomly work, and eventually "stop" again. Really weird. I'm not sure if it's related to changing the battery as I can't remember the last time I had to roll down the window.
Any ideas?
This seems to be normal operation. If you change the battery and/or improperly reset the auto up feature, the window will fail to operate. I had to wait several minutes for the window to "reset" and work again. Then I had reset the auto up feature according to the manual.
Scared the crap outa me. Thought my window motors went south.
