Fog Lights help
Okay i have posted about fog lights twice already and had no help....I am a newbie to cars. I have no clue how to approach installing fogs on my 09 nissan maxima S. Is my 09 pre-wired for fogs?
Do any one one know where i can find pictures or a tutorial on how to install these fogs? I have no idea on how to install the on and off switch... Please help!

If you want the factory look check out courtesyparts.com. The whole kit will run you around $200 or so, that includes fogs and the Combination swith for the steering column. The S model does not have the fog light turn on switch.
I have an '11 S model and added fogs myself.
The hardest part was installing the foglight Brackets because there isn't a whole lot of room. Once you got those brackets on the rest is cake walk. The dealership will tell you that the steering wheel needs to be removed to install the Combo switch....This isn't true at all. Disconnect the battery and remove the 2 little covers behind the steering wheel, there you will access a screw on each side. Once those are removed pull apart the sterring column cover. Next, you will remove the 2 screws that holds the Combination switch on. Pull the combo switch up and disconnect the plug. Plug the new one in push it back into place and reinstall everything.
May sound a bit confusing by words, I should have taken pics when I installed them. The whole install took me a little over an hour.
Hope this somewhat helps.
I have an 09 S without fogs and when I pulled my fascia off, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was factory wired for fogs. With the fascia off, the installation would be extremely simple. Without the fascia off, I could see the top bolt for the fogs being a royal pain.
courtesyparts.com has the fog light kit that fits our car on sale for 259 right now. That includes the lights themselves, the stalks and all the mounting hardware. If you were to buy the parts separately from the dealership, the parts alone would cost you well over 400. I was quoted 150 to install the kit on top of the price from the dealership. Not even close to worth it, and the whole thing could be done in a couple hours if you are even remotely mechanically inclined.
If you buy a kit from eBay, you can get the whole kit for around 110 shipped. This is a slightly different kit though. It does not use the stock combination switch. Instead, it uses one of the switches that takes a spot on the lower left of your dash. Take a look at this auction, it will give you an idea of what the switch is:
eBay 09 maxima fog light kit
If you get an eBay kit, you will need to run the wires from your engine bay, through the firewall and to the switch. A lot of extra work compared to the stock setup. What it really comes down to is your time worth the extra money for the OEM kit over the eBay solutions.

You two dudes above me are the best. You answered all my questions! thank you very much!....All i need help is the steering column...I am kinda confused about the two screws he is talking about but i did not take it apart yet so i would have to...to see what he is talking about!
The 2 screws on the steering wheel cover...
Crank your steering wheel hard left and look on the right hand side of the column directly below where the steering wheel is, along the top cover. You will see the screw. Pop the cover, undo the screw.
Crank it hard right, remove the cover and undo the right screw.
Once its apart, the column should be able to be removed.
