Wheel Spacers/Adapters 7th Gen
Did a search but couldn't find anything with reference with the 7th Gen Max. Just picked up a 2012 SV. Stock 18" wheels with stock oem ride hieght. Was size spacers cab I go with front and back without having any rubbing issues.
On my daughters 2003 Maz with the Titanium Edition and stock ride heights I'm running 5mm in front and 15mm in the rear. Not sure what to go with in the 7th gen.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

nah. just install properly (torque to 75 ft/lbs both the spacers lugs and your wheel lugs and check and re-tighten after 500 miles). too tight and you may warp the spacers, too loose and obviously things may come off
only horror stories ive heard about spacers were using cheap spacers or improperly installing them

What's the deal? Never hear any mention of the type one vs. the type two spacers here?
I've done the longer wheel studs when bracket racing (years ago).
It wasn't because of the use of spacers. It was a NHRA safety rule requirement to visually indicate the studs were long enough and fully engage through the lug nuts.
I would have no problem pressing in longer wheel studs to accommodate the added spacer thickness required to properly offset the wheels.
I was just wondering if there is/or if anyone had an issue in doing this with the 7th gen Max?
The type two spacers are not particularly appealing to me for this or any car I would drive on a daily basis. Simple is most often the best.

Type I are the thinner widths, they have longer studs that need to be installed. the Type II have their own studs and bolt-on to the wheel hub. ive ran both without issues. the Type II's I had for over 8 months until i switched wheels, my Type I's I've had for a few months now

After I lower the car I'll look at the spacer widths that will work for me.
The whole (10) studs per wheel of the type 2 has always thrown a bit of a curve in my less is simpler is better mentality.
Taking time to care for the proper torque obviously goes a long way in the sucess with the type 2 spacer set-up.
I'll continue to study this more!

I did recheck the torque last week and they were still at spec.
No issues so far and I don't anticipate any down the road.

1. Where do I start to look for the 370z wheels...Ebay?
2. Recommend any Chrome shops?
3. any brand in wheels spacers?
#15
2. Not sure
3. ichiba V2 seems to be what most go with here and I havent heard anything but good things about them

no idea on the chrome shops.
Eibach and Ichiba both make great wheel spacers, whatever you get make sure they have hubcentric rings otherwise **** will vibrate to all hell

Ok, guys, I know nothing about cars I went on the Ichiba site, and I see different sizes I feel like my front wheel need to come out a little more I am running z wheels with 245/35/19. I feel like the front need to be out a little more, and it will be perfect. Any suggestions.
