Does anyone know how to take the stock exhaust tips off...Are they welded on there?

 

Cut off only! They are part of the muffler assembly. Might as well get some nicer muffs if you want new tips..IMOP.

 

+1..Unfortunately they are not like the 2008 Honda Accords..or other cars for that matter. I Also recommend looking up at www.autoanything.com They have a lot of mufflers w tips as well and have many reviews! Its almost like a Custom Exhaust once you get a Y-Pipe, Resonator or delete, and then Mufflers w Tips.
