Trunk/Window Spoiler Install

Installed this morning. Window spoiler was very easy. Cleaned the area and mounted simply by sight.

Trunk spoiler took longer. Two of the holes are completely under the reinforcement metal and the "gasket" that came with the spoiler was not double-stick (it's foam), so the spoiler does not sit as well as I had hoped for. No matter how much you tighten the screws, it still sticks up a tiny bit. Nobody else should notice it, but I do.

Also, 2 of the strips used to line up the holes are not long enough to stick down to the trunk before you lift the spoiler up (when you are lining it up). It caused one of the holes to be off just a bit. I'll post that pic in a few.

Both look great!
Was that an oem or aftermarket spoiler?

Aftermarket on both. Shadow Speed for the window spoiler. Google eBay for him - you'll find him easy enough. Delivered pretty quickly.

You need two people for the window spoiler. It really is custom fit for the window. Peel off a few inches and start on one side while your assistant holds it from the other side of the car.

I just followed the contours of the window and peeled the backing away. I started with the sticky side towards the top of the car and then after it was set into place, pulled off the sticky side towards the bottom of the spoiler. I just worked my way across the window.
