Just made a deal on a 2012 Maxima SV w/Sport Pkg. Come from a history of nissans, my previous cars have been:

1) 2003 Sentra SE-R Spec-V
2) 2006 Altima SE-R
3) 2009 Altima Coupe 2.5 (Wifes car)
4) 2009 Altima Coupe 3.5SE (traded in the 2.5 for the 3.5SE, again wifes)
5) 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD (mine)
6) 2010 Infiniti G37x Sedan w/Premium Pkg (most recently the wifes, traded in for the Maxima)
7) 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD 6MT (currently my daily driver)

So as you can see from above, i'm a car guy. We decided to trade my wifes G37x sedan for the 2012 Maxima w/Sport Pkg. G37x is a great vehicle, will be missed, but trying to save a few bucks and Maxima is the best trade off. Not missing much from the G aside from the Hp & AWD. Interior quality of seats etc. IMO is actually better than the G. I still have my 2012 TL SH-AWD 6MT which is an amazing car.

So guys, that's what the stable consist of. TL & now the new Maxima. Look forward to posting pics when i pick her up on Tuesday.

As a previous 03 spec v owner I gotta admit this is the funnest car you owned.

 

Welcome. Just one month ago I traded my wife's 2010 TL SH-AWD for a 2012 Maxima SV. She can't stop saying how much she loves the Max over the TL. And I have to admit I like it alot too. Miss the AWD but seems a lot more nimble than the TL and more sporty. Not so big.
Do you belong to the Acura site as well?

Thanks for the warm welcomes everybody. I do actually have one quick question, i don't have the car yet so can't read the manual. As for warranty, i know bumper to bumper is 3yrs 60,000km (or 36,000miles), powertrain is 5yr 100,000km (60,000miles). But for the CVT, i could be wrong, but do they not have a 10yr 200,000km (120,000miles) warranty on the tranny. I thought i heard somewhere that the Tranny carries a longer warranty.

 

The Spec was an awsome car. mine was mildly modded, and i loved every minute of it. Still have yours eh? Did it get hungry and eat any butterfly screws yet? lol
