Cost to insure?
This is almost a meaningless question, because there are so many dozens of variables involved. Where you live, how you use the car, whether it is garaged or kept in the driveway or on the street, driving record, amount of coverage, type and age of vehicle, driver's age, types of coverage, deductable, prior claims, credit rating, etc. Some companies even adjust their rates based on the color of the vehicle.
For my 2009 Maxima with Premium and Tech packages, I pay right at $600 per year to State Farm for $300,000/$500,000 liability bodily injury, $100,000 property damage, $10,000 medical payments, also the same coverage for uninsured motorist coverage, plus $250 deductable collision, and emergency road service.
That amount may seem low, but then I have several mitigating factors:
1 - Discount for multiple cars.
2 - Discount for perfect driving record.
3 - Discount for no claims.
4 - Discount for having other types of insurance with State Farm (homeowners, etc).
5 - Discount for having multi-million dollar umbrella policy with State Farm.
6 - Discount for having separate policy for land and animals that I may keep on my property.
7 - I'm sure I am getting a better rate for being very old and for not using my car for any type of commuting. I am listing these things from memory, so may be overlooking a few things.
There are even possible factors that are not listed on my statement, such as having had State Farm auto insurance since 1957. I had SAFECO insurance before 1957.
It may even help that my wife and I stop by our agent's office around three or four times a year, and chat with several of the employees who aren't busy at the monent. They know us well, and give us calendars, lists of approved vendors for any type of home repair we may be interested in, deer whistles to mount on the front of our cars and trucks, lollipops, key chains, ball point pens, paper pads, etc.
More importantly, they bring up our insurance info on their PC and check everything with us, and sometimes find ways to lower our payments.
We love our friends who work for our State Farm agent.
EDIT - You will probably get more meaningful numbers if you give us a few things such as your age, driving record, type of area you live in, whether the car is left on the street at night, model year of your Maxima, etc.

I totally agree with Light. Here is my story so can compare. When I got my car 6 months ago i went to Statefarm, Infinity every single insurance company and the least expensive was Infinity that quoted me 2,900 hundred for 6 months incredible right, but I had no choice. The reason why they charged me so much its because I'm 20 years old, never had insurance, had my license for 3 years only and etc. Btw I had no speeding tickets. My term passed and I went and check with my sales rep to see if he could find me something cheaper. So he went like ,let me see what we can do for you. He set me up with Statefarm for 800.00 so that's 2,100 cheaper that what I paid the last 6 months. He got me a great deal because he applied many discounts like being a good student with 4.0 GPA, no tickets, added my Dad's and Girlfriend's car to the contract and etc. I'm so happy with what I got. :-) good luck my friend. Sorry for the grammar english is not my first language.
Umm..I'm not shopping for insurance. I was just wondering what others pay? Lol I'm not asking you guys "what should I pay". Just wanted to see some numbers

I do hate insurance for me i've had insurance since 2004 and rates have actually increased in Fl b/c of all of the fraud. I've never had a claim or any type of interaction with my insurance company just pay them every month. no tickets etc...
