Aftermarket iPod / iPhone Solution?

Hello everyone, I'm new to Maxima.org.

I have a 12' Nissan Maxima SV w/o Tech Package so unfortunately I am stuck using the aux jack for music. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the product below. They aren't 100% whether it is compatible with my year which leaves me guessing. Does anyone know if the OE head unit in my year has CAT/SAT? I'm assuming the SAT is the Satellite option which I do have. This piece comes with a cable that utilizes an open port on the back of the radio. Just trying to figure out if the port is actually open on my radio without first ripping it out to find out that it isn't. I'm also open to other suggestions as an alternative to the piece below. Thanks guys!

If no tech package, does that also mean no bluetooth connectivity? This assumes you have a device with Bluetooth out, though.

You could simplify things and go with something like this: http://store.griffintechnology.com/i...trip-handsfree

I used one with good success on my old car.

TBA - I have Bluetooth for phone only through the standard radio.

I wanted a way to hardwire my iPhone via USB and this is what I could find. Just not sure if I will get text display on the screen or if the open port that the describe even exists on my radio. I've looked at the griffin, monoprice also makes one. Both units have to be charged so often which isn't a huge deal but you still have the aux cable sticking out of the radio and have to mount that unit somewhere. Not opposed to it as an inexpensive back up but do want something clean and functional. Thanks for responding.

I would install this if it would work on my car. Please post if you do find a solution.
