door handle chrome cover falling off

So the chrome driver side door handle cover is falling off of my 09 maxima . Any input on a quick fix? I am leaning towards just mixing up some jb weld and making that baby on there forever . Any down side that anyone can think of to doing this ? Thank you

What about some 3M trim tape applied to the handle and then pressing the chrome back on?

Sorry i didnt describe it well in my first post . Its the chrome portion of the door handle i havent pulled it off all the way but it just looks like a plastic chrome cover on the front door handle it is molded differently than the back doors since it has to fit around the door unlock button that is in the middle of the handle . When i peeled it back a little i do see some what looks like 3m tape ,and i would gladly just buy more to fix it i just dont know how to take the handle cover off all the way as i really dont want to snap something , but i do think i should attach it better before it falls off .
