What's up? New to the forum...?s

Hey guys,

I recently got a 2011 Maxima for my wife and have plans for a few bolt ons. Absolutely love the car and that's coming from a die hard GM guy. Definitely want it lowered, wheels, intake, exhaust...that kind of stuff. I'm not looking for a ton of power, I have a C6 Z06 in the garage for that. Just a clean look and nice sound for the lady. I will do some research (why I join forums, endless knowledge) but would enjoy anyone's input on what may be working out there.

Here is the new ride.

And here is the beast! I know it's the Maxima forum but I'm a car guy that likes sharing cars...

Haha, I'd post that if I had it too. Thanks! Do you have a list of your mods? The Maxima in your Sig looks sweet!

Welcome man. Congrats on the Maxima. You'll enjoy it and sick Z06. Very clean and mean looking. Here's a max you should look at for ideas since it's white.

Thanks! Very nice ride.
I'm kinda of pissed Corsa doesn't make exhaust for the Maxima. They are what I'm running on the Z06 and they are nasty. No drone, but really scream in the mid to upper RPMs.

Thanks, I have new black wheels and tires coming for the Vette this week and I'm lowering at least another inch. Or whatever I can get away with while still being able to get in and out of my driveway, lol.

The Eibach Pro Kit is on the way for the Max and I'm trying to get the wife to decide on a new set of black wheels. Sticking with 18" so I can reuse the tires. Anybody running these Motegi's? They have decent reviews and I'm not dropping the coin on HREs or other big name wheels for her ride...

Thanks man, It was a dream come true for me about 7 months ago when I finally got my Z. I've wanted one since 2006, all I can say is that it was worth the wait!
And having my wife in the sporty Maxima now versus our old tank of a Yukon, I'm hoping she won't want to drive the Z anymore, lol.

I am only 22 and I have already had a decent amount of my dreams come true. If you work hard you'll get whatever you want. Never give up and always keep your head up!

I feel like this is turning into a Dr. Phil session.

Sweet rides, I envy your vette....this coming from a die hard GM guy as well, had 3 F-Bodies and miss them dearly. Now the wife and I both are in a maxima, until which time I can go buy another V8 to play with. lol

I am super impressed with the Maxima. I've owned all GMs for the last 10 years. All I can say about that transmission in the Max is, WOW! I still can't get used to not feeling the car shift, lol. I can't wait to get a few mods on it.

As for the Z06, hands down the most impressive muscle(super) car out there. It just does everything very well. It currently puts down 512 rwhp 467 tq. I have plans this year to do the heads, cam and other goodies that should put it around 590-600rwhp/540-550tq. That's as far as I want to go. It will be more reliable than stock. Plus it's already stupid fast. A friend has a supercharged Z06 that makes 730rwhp and it's just too much for the street.
