That tells me something may not be exactly right with your electrical system. My '09 was built in September 2008, and my original 500 CCA Nissan battery was still working perfectly well when I replaced it with the 700 CCA battery this past September.

I replaced it because I always replace my battery after four years just as a precautionary measure. When you get my age, you can't take the risk of being stranded in the middle of nowhere (which I sometimes did when younger).

Of course I have always babied my battery. My car is kept in a heated and air conditioned garage unless I am on a road trip, and I NEVER use the battery for ANYTHING unless the engine is running. I also have a battery recharger right there in my garage, but have only had to use it on my wife's trucks.

If I were you, I would consider having the dealer check the electrical system. Anything less than three years for a battery is not right.

I went to Harborfreight today and bought me one of those 3 in 1 jump starter for $59 and got it all ready to go, The dealer told me that they did run the electrical check and no problems but if it happens one more time Nissanusa will be hearing from me.
