you really dont want this feature. My wife has an Infiniti that has a beeping sonar and within 1 hour of buying the car we turned it off and never turned it back on since. If you have a camera, you dont need the sonar driving you nuts every time you back up

I agree with this. My 09 f150 had the backup camera and the sensors. They always bugged me also. Just get one or the other.

I really like the beeping feature on my g. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Not a bad idea to have both as my eyes are not always on the camera. A Nissan cheap out, not to do so.

I find that the yellow predictive line is fairly accurate, so are the colors on back up screen which are:
Red line: approx. 1.5 ft

Yellow line: approx. 3 ft

Green line: approx. 7 ft

We had the beep on the 2007 Maxima.
I would gladly swap the camera on the 2012 Maxima for the beeps. The camera takes too much concentration and it is distracting to me.

yeah gotta agree with this. my boy has the sensors in his BMW and if you sit in the car with it running they'll start freaking out over everything including the cars you're parked next to..
