BC Coilover spring rate

I'm running 9k springs up front and BC is sending me 10k for the rear. Anybody know how 10k will be on this car. Too stiff?

10k is more appropriate. The 8 to 9k is for 4 cylinder engine. There's a 125 lb difference between the two engines. It needs 10k to avoid booming out when riding super low.

Squeaking Noise after BC Coilover install

I have the BC Coilovers on my 2011 SV and the ride height is perfect. I even like the stiffer ride quality. However since install I have noticed what I will call a "torchered metal" sound coming from the front when I am turning the steering wheel. I usually hear this when backing out of my garage. Any ideas on what may be causing this. Or has anyone had the same issue. I had my coilovers professionally installed at Butler Tire in Atl, Ga.

I had the same exact issue dude. It would sound worse when it would rain out. My coilovers are at BC right now. They said they are replacing the bearings for the upper spring seat which should fix the issue. I'm not putting them back on until April so I won't know til then if the problem is fixed or not. Regardless, I believe it's more of an annoyance than a hazard.

Who at BC are you working with? I wonder if they would send out a replacement set ahead of repairing mine. It's rather costly to take them off the car send them in and then put them back on the car. If they are defective they should be replaced.

I've been talking to Sam who has been extremely helpful. I only took minr off and sent them back bc i was having other issues. You could ask for replacement bearings and he may ask you to send the old ones back once the new ones are on. Or he may just send them to you without hassle since they are probably cheap enough.
