I wanted to know why the center console outlet in my 11 maxima was always on. My gps draws power from it and three boosts later I find myself here. Its always on and id like for it to always be off when the ignition is off. Thanks for your help.

 

Mine is an '11 also, with the tech package. There are two 12v outlets, one of them is constant power, the other switches off and of with the ignition. Try the other one and you probably won't have your problem anymore.

 

Where is the other power source located besides the center console?
