Transmission Noise

I have noticed that after my car sits still for a little while or overnight, especially when there is a slight incline of the street, that there seems to be something happening with my transmission. It seems as if there is a tad bit of slack in the system that reminds me of pulling on a rope with a little slack on it.

Has anyone ever noticed this before and is it something that I should be worried about?

Yeah it happens to me, only in the morning or after sitting for a while too.. But that's the only time it happens... if i go to the store and leave it running etc. its goes into gear like normal. Guess only when the tranny is cold?

It's all about the fluid getting circulated. Just about every automatic that I have owned over the years would do this. More so with less warm-up before driving.
