Anybody ever had this annoying squeak behind the break pedal? (video included)
I've been trying to figure out a way to squelch this annoying squeak every time I apply the brakes on my 09' Max. In the video below, you will see and hear the culprit of the sound which seems to be a rubber gasket type of thing where the brake rod goes into the floor behind the pedal. It looks all weird and white because I've tried so many things including silicon grease, etc. It might have helped just a little for a brief time but right back to how it sounded before. I'd love to just cut that rubber thing out but not sure what the ramifications of that are. Thanks for any advice you may have
