How do I shut off entry/exit function?
I just bought a 2012 maxima without navigation and been looking everywhere just to find out how to shut this off. All the information I have found on this just shows how to shut it off in the navigation or color screen settings menu and I have the amber screen.

Apologies don't mean to hijack the thread!

Yes that is the feature I was asking about. I can't seem to find the button to get to the main menu for theses settings. underneath my screen is the control panel for the air conditioner so there is no settings button.

Did you ever find out??
I have been searching for the same answer to no avail but everyone tells me to look under comfort settings. I cannot figure out how to get to that menu with the basic amber screen (if you even can). Just purchased a 2010 and want to disable the feature as well.

You have to have the push button to the ON. then go to the settings and in there find the COMFORT screen. you can set several things there. Seat/light/steering wheel and a couple of others. (I have the nav package)

I have nav but before I figured out the settings I held the set button for 30 seconds on the driver door (used for presets). It did the trick. Try It. It may work for you too.

Has anyone figured this out for non-nav package?
I have googled the hell out of this and haven't found anything helpful/accurate. This is for the non-tech package I am talking about (amber screen, no GPS). Everything out there refers to the tech package settings.
I want to disable the feature as my tilt motor already burned out once before, luckily under warranty. I had the function disabled at the dealer once before, but just replaced my battery and it's re-enabled.
