Looks really good How did you get them off? I heard of sliding fishing behind the emblems and then something like goo gone to get the remaining adhesive off. Did they come off easy? Maybe I can put this on my list of to do's...

I've only been here since yesterday and haven't even had delivery of my Maxima yet. If I keep reading threads I'm gonna catch that mod bug.......

hey man, first off WELCOME! Im back to the org after a little hiatus(traded '04 max for '10 Altima, now back to '12 Max)

Anyways, debadging is super easy. You can either let your bake in the sun for a little to loosen the glue or use a hairdryer. I had Satin Floss and fishing line ready to use. Went with the fishing line thinking I can 'catch' some of the glue, but that didnt happen. After easily removing the badges, I used goo gone to clean up the rest, dont use swirl marks, go back n forth. dont rub too hard otherwise the goo gone and friction will ruin the clearcoat. Once you have all the glue off and can rub a cloth over it without feeling any specs of glue, then your ready to wax/buff out the area to fade away the shadow the emblems leave behind.

I've had my Max for two weeks, this past week I've averaged a mod per day, kinda obsessed lol

this may have been implied ... but make sure you wash that area before putting on the wax

Hey Denali.....one more thing. Not sure what year you have but double check to make sure your burger doesn't have pin holes.

Someone confirmed on another thread somewhere...you can easily peel back the carpet lining the trunk and run your hand back there to confirm. Good luck and oh yes make sure you wash it

Thanks for the heads up.....It's a 2010, I'll check the burger for pin holes first. Until today I only thought a burger was something too eat. I guess I have lots to learn about the brand I've never owned before, thank goodness for Forums, it sure makes learning easier and fun at the same time. My wife thought I spend a lot of time on the GMT truck forum. Now I'm on 2 forums and always have both open on the laptop and visit quite often...

Why don't you want the badge? Furthermore if you take it off isn't it silly to leave the Nissan logo? Now all these fools gonna think you're in an Altima.
