what do these lights mean?

whats up guys, i have a problem, and i hope its not a major one. I drive a 2010 nissan maxima, and the slip, abs, and edc off lights are all on. Does anyone know what the three of these combined mean, i called nissan and they said to replace my brakes, havent done so yet, placing the order for them tomorrow. just asking the you guys to get a second opinion.

Check your brake fluid. If it's low, top it off to max. This is an indication that your brake pads have worn as well but you may not need to change them just yet. Inspect them as well.

Shipwreck is right on the money. Just note that it may appear that you are within limits on your break fluid, but if you top off, most likely your lights will go back to normal.....just don't forget his admonition to check the rest of your components!

I had these lights come on once, and the abs module was bad. Covered under warranty, but would have been $1500
