Exclamation HELP PLEASE! Where do I hook up a line output converter for best sound?

HELP!! I have a 2009 Maxima SV with the Bose package. I want to take out the stock subs, and replace them with a set of component speakers. I also want to put my L7 Solobaric in the trunk. My question is this:

Can I run the Line output converter off the lines going to the stock subs? Or, do I have to tap into the door speakers? I'm concerned the signal going to the subs has already been filtered, and thus will not give the LOC everything it needs to convert a clean signal for the 2 new amps. The LOC will feed RCA's to my sub amp (Phoenix Gold), and Component Amp (Alpine). I want to be sure both get as clean a signal as possible.

Also, if anyone has any tips from experience, I would love to hear it. I want this project to go smoothly, with as little collateral damage as possible. Thank you

I have an amp with speaker-level inputs (same thing as what the line-out converter accomplishes) and I tapped that into the sub outputs in the ceiling of the trunk. This however, was for a digital amp dedicated to a sub and that's it. So I'm not sure if that signal is filtered at all. For my purposes, it is working fantastic for the sub.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for the picture that was posted where to tap in but I cannot find it.

Can someone post the link to it or the picture ?

Thanks,
