Deleting 09' Maxima resenator
So I went to a shop with my friend today and he got his resonator removed. He has a GTI stage 2, and naturally his exhaust got louder then it originally was, when the mechanic put my car on the lift he discovered the cats in the front & rear end of the exhaust system, his co worker/friend said that removing the resonator from my car would make it sound raspy or not even make a difference. The mechanic then said he could remove my piping and just change my dual exhaust into a single exhaust while deleting the resonator at the same time. (His co worker did that to his 350 and showed me how loud it was when he reved the engine) so long question short:
Has any of you 7th gen owners deleted ONLY the resonator? And if you have is it a big/noticeable difference?

I removed the resonator and added magnaflow mufflers.
First I just changed the mufflers. There was zero difference.
Then I pulled out the resonator. That was a huge difference.
You will notice a difference with removing the resonator. Going to a single exhaust exit sounds ridiculous, as we have two exhaust cut outs in the bumper. There are not cats in the rear of the system, those are resonating chambers.

This! I personally wouldn't go to a single exhaust for the same reason!
