Annoying Rattle....solved

I have dug up a few old threads about rattles but didn't seam to see anyone with the same one I was having. It was one of them come and go rattles. But when it was there, it would rattle sometimes in sync with my acceleration which was odd. started trying all sorts of ****, ended up opening my glove box and boom, rattle gone. Got some thin black foam with a sticky side and stuck it in a few spots. No more rattle. Just figured I would share if anyone else is dealing with it.

However, I have no solution to the slight rattles when theres anything playing with a loud bass. It's clearly coming from the speakers themselves but not sure how to stop it, any one figure that out yet?

I solved one rattle by putting some black electrical tape just below the first notch on the headrest polls. It Seemed when the headrest went in, even at it's highest setting it was making contact with something inside the seat and making all sorts of noise. I actually thought at first the noise was coming from the center console as I never had a seat rattle like that before. The tape keeps the polls from going down low enough to make the noise.

I had a black interior so the take was hard to notice

I figured I would just throw it out there as people go nuts trying to fix rattles

Easiest way to diagnose headrest rattles is to just remove the headrest and see if the rattle goes away

If it's a front speaker grill that's rattling my 2013 had to have the windshield replaced as it was the source of rattle and not installed correctly from the factory

Addition FYI: I had a persistent rattle coming from the dash just to left of steering wheel. Dealer fixed it today under warranty, apparently there is a lengthy bolt connecting the paddle shifters to somewhere deep in the dash. The bolt was mis-threaded and the washer was rattling around.

My Max rattles in the radio/hvac area. Sounds like a 10 yr old Chevy regardless of the speed. It drives me nuts.
