Nissan ADV for Torque Pro

Anyone here utilize this yet? Works for the A35 Maxima. Can you actually adjust AFR with these expanded features? btw, I'm an A33 (5.5 gen) owner, just came across this and figured I'd check with you all. At a minimum, pass along the information.

Couldn't find this in the iOS App Store. I already have the torque app too. I'll hook it up tomorrow to see if it's been updated.

Just to clarify, im 99% sure you cant adful afrs on here.

What i think it means is that it will read your afrs.

Iirc torque already does that with my max. Id have to install the app again and double check

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into this, might buy it. I doubt you can make any adjustments but it'll be interesting to play with.

Hope this helps you guys. Only compatible with CAN bus, so I'm out. Keep in mind you have to buy Torque PRO and this Nissan ADV both. Also not sure which elm you guys need. Should be listed somewhere.

torque is awesome, ive used it for years - for monitoring things though. i agree i doubt it will be able to make adjustments, and if it does i definitely wont be the first one trying that. the additional info it displays though would be cool, might buy it if they can confirm it works for us. looks like 1 review so far says it didnt work on his 2010 Maxima

Thats my review lol. Still hasn't been able to work. I have been sending logs and screenshots to the developer. He made it seem like he has to add every unique car id number...

Here is my emails and his reply -

Will this app add on for Torque Pro allow me to adjust my ignition timing and/or air fuel ratio? Also adjust when the cooling fans turn on?
What exactly can I adjust?
Or is this just for monitoring.

Btw I own a new Maxima.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

As of now the app is just for monitoring.

I am developing another plugin/app to activate specific functions on the vehicle, like the cooling fans.

Thanks!

This app would sell like crazy if you were able to adjust things like timing, air fuel, cooling fans. I'm on a few large Nissan forums and I could spread the word once you get it working. I'm positive that many, many people would download this app.
Let me know.

Sincerely,
Kevin

it would be cool if it can change things down the road. keep in mind having the ability to change timing/afr ratios/etc doesnt necessarily mean most people know what they're doing. this is a skill tuners develop over time, and certain tuners are better than others which is why everyone local goes to Hills Garage for their Uprev tunes cause Frank is the best. this is why I didn't bother messing with the self-tuner version of Uprev with the cable, I won't even pretend I know how to tune a car.

Ive used torque pro to monitor my max and my boosted b14. Its alright.
It has enough info without using the Nissan adv features. I am looking forward to finding a dealer that will advance my timing for me though. ha ha
