Radio problems on Maxima SV
Hi...
Just a question. I have a 2011 Maxima SV with navigation, I just bought the car last week but yesterday my radio/cd/aux/ jukebox seems to be sticking. I start the car and hit the radio **** and nothing happens, then after driving for a few minutes the radio will click on. Then I hit the button that toggles between cd/aux/ jukebox and nothing happens or it will switch to one and then the program seems to stick and won't let me switch to the next option, then after two or three minutes the program seems to unfreeze and it allows me to switch between options but if I do it too quick it will freeze again. It doesn't seem to
be an electrical problem but more of a software problem like when a computer freezes. Any one else have this problem? Is there some sort of reset/reboot on the system? It has 33k miles so I believe it's still under warranty.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

If not the mileage means nothing, it will be time.
Unless your 2011 car was originally purchased in 2012 chances are your BPB warranty is expired.
Better check now as you are running out of time either way

Used car warranties rarely cover things like radios.
You would think the dealer would be stand up and fix it but you never know.
A Nissan ( or any major) dealer most likely will, Joe's Tire and Auto Sales, roll the dice

True, my experience dealerships are usually good with taking care of any problems within the first 90 days of used car purchase. I'm not sure on used cars else where but in ma u get the automatic 90 day warranty with a car under 100k. I would just call the dealer explain the situation, they'll have u bring it in...hopefully they just take care of it, if not put pressure on the person who sold u the car and if that don't work move to management
