I've searched for a couple of days now and cant seem to find anyone with the same problem that I have.

A 2012 maxima sv with cold weather package, suddenly the info display (the square area below the speedo) has gone blank. All other lights/warnings/controls work except for that screen.

Has anyone ever had this to happen? Any suggestions? It is still under warranty and I will take it to the dealer if it is not something simple, I just hate to go to the dealer if it is something that i can handle myself. Thanks

 

have you looked in the owner's manual? Maybe you turned it off somehow?

It might too just be a loose conenctor behind the speedo, but to verify that (and to remove/reinstall that connector) the gauge cluster has to come out

 

Yeah I wouldn't think it would be fuse related as everything else is working ok.
You may want to check and see if it's on a separate circuit but I doubt it.

 

I was thinking maybe the connector as well. Forgot to mention that I have checked fuses and all are good.
