New Owner

Will post pics soon. I am not sure which packages and options I have... how do I find out?

2011, Crimson Black, 31XXXmi, 22.3K. It's a beast of a car. The last Maxima I owned was a 1991 Pearl White GXE with Burgundy velour. Loved that car. Got over 300K miles before I gave to brother.

Thanks friends

Wow, this is funny. I cant get the answer I am looking for from my 09/10 Purchase posting, but it is referenced to answer someone else's question.

Should be able to find the different trim/options information on the Nissan website. For reference, it changes year to year.

Thanks all

Too nasty out to take pix. 2011, pano roof, nav, shift paddles, wood trim, power tilt/telescope, heated wheel, crimson black, sat radio, heated/vent seat, spoiler, shade, tints, xenons, factory 18s, music box, single CD, USB, DVD inputs. I don't know what packages or trim level I have...

I find that at idle and low speeds with very light acceleration produces a drone, or idles so low that it doesn't sound pleasant. When idling in park the rpms fluctuate slightly every few seconds. What kind of search can I perform here to find the best thread? Has been discussed?

Low idle and drone

You did just buy a used Maxima correct? This type of behavior should be expected with a new owner in the seat. Your Maxima's ECM/ECU will try now to adapt to your method or mode of driving. Also, if the previous owner ran a regular grade of gas or you filled it with a different grade than premium your ECM/ECU will cut back timing for the grade of fuel it is running. Your vehicles ECM/ECU will increase up to +/-3 degrees or more of timing with an Octane change.

I experienced a similar effect when my wife put a mid grade in my car because the stations premium was out. It went back to normal when I filled it up again with premium. It did some adjusting again and the feeling went back to normal. It could also be because the adjustment to driving a CVT transmission now.

Sounds like the premium/tech package. I have the same exact options except no spoiler. The sport is a giveaway because it has the 19's and isn't able to come with the pano roof. Your spoiler could have jus been dealer added which I prefer over not having the spoiler, gives it a more aggressive look.
