Squeaking in rear of car

Hey guys.

So it seems no matter what I do or what I grease there's squeaking in the rear of my car.

It all started when I upgraded to te polyurathane bushings from Racingline but I switched back to the OEMS thinking they would help and yet nothing! If anything it sounds worse.

Has anyone had experience with this problem or know what else in my rear that could be causing the squeaking.

Thing is so embarrassing to go over a bump and hear it but again thank you and all input would be appreciated.

I might be wrong but I was told from the dealer when I brought it in for the same sound that it is the struts compressing and is normal which I've learned to live with and just turn the music up. I know that this might not be related but that's what I was told when I had the squeaks/creeks what ever u wanna call them

I had the same issue, but when I switched back to the OEM bushings, the problem was solved. I would try to get more of the type of grease that originally came with the Racingline bushings & go to town on the contact areas. My plan was to put the polyurathane bushings back on, but I'm content with how it is.

Yeah I just ordered some new OEM bushings and I have the prothane grease so I'll see if they fix the problem.

Just for anyone who was wondering, white lithium grease sucks. One of the most useless greases I have ever used, at least the CRC brand

Upon further investigation I'm thinking it's my rear strut mounts considering I installed new OEM bushings to no avail. I'll go to nissan and see what they have to say on the matter

Did you put copious amounts of grease on those bushings also? Once I added plenty of grease on mine, the sound never came back.

I greased that thing like ashy hands!

I bought Super Lube and went to town on the inside of the bushings, the sway bar, the base under the sway bar and the metal pieces holding the bushings on. Still didn't work.

From what I have been reading, when I go over bumps it creaks in the back and almost ever forum I have gone on with similar problems have linked it back to the strut mounts.

Now I just gotta find someone cheap to do it lol

I still have to go to Nissan so I'll see if they confirm it though
