brake caliper paint
Just go buy caliper paint at auto zone.Personally what I do is I remove the brake pads, caliper and detach the caliper bracket off spindle (don't disconnect brake lines) also I don't know how the brake slide pins are on the Max but cover those too and make sure you clean and put some anti-seize on them. Brush off everything your painting, tape and use plastic or newspaper for over spray on anything you don't want and paint on. Also don't worry about getting paint on rotors, it will come off when braking except for the hub area. Paint your rotors too! I hate when rust gets on the hub.

Clean it the caliper by either washing it or using brake cleaner, then sand it with 320 grit sandpaper and then paint it. Quite frankly any paint will do because your calipers don't get that hot except for the bed in process. You can get engine enamel paint from walmart rated at 500 degrees for like $5 and that will be good enough for any job on your brakes

@Justmaxxin, how would brake dust really get on the calipers? And except when you bed in your brakes your calipers do not get that hot. Trust me, as we speak my rotors are very hot to the touch but the calipers are warm/cool and I just drove to work which is a 40 mile commute.
I just changed my rotors and brakes and painted my calipers silver and black. I used caliper paint but it's honestly an upsell to get "caliper paint."
Brake dust should be the least of your worries in regards to the part of the caliper that will be seen.

Probably the easiest 20 bucks i've spent on my Max so far. Quick clean, scrub, mask, and paint! Did it in a few hours and man I couldn't be happier. Use the paint brush instead of the spray and you'll have no problems. Enjoy!
Not trying to stop a potential purchase/sale... but if you're having a hard time reaching him I'm sure you can pick up the caliper kit at any advance or auto store for $20 bucks. That's where and how much I got mine for... just a thought.
