Just bringing up an old post for Winter. This is all a good read for those who are looking into Winter Storage. I did most of the mentioned above last winter and the ride was clean and smooth once she got back out on the road.

My reason for the re post is in regards to the oil change before storage. I'm currently tight on money as I'll be leaving my current job at the start of December, and won't be back on the payroll until January. I have recently changed my oil, 1500 miles ago. Actually I'm just about to hit 1600 on the newly changed oil.

What is the general opinion here. Am I good to store the car with this oil or should I make the oil change anyway? TIA!

If it's me I'm doing what I need to do in order to change the oil instead of worrying about acidity and blah blah blah in one of the corners of your mind all winter long

Peace of mind = priceless

Just my $0.02

Good luck
