Exclamation Exhaust on a 7th gen. Maxima

Does anybody know what would be a good exhaust, a little rumble I don't want it to sound getto I just want to be able to hear the engine power with exhaust. I've seen a few videos just not sure if flowmaster with a racing Y pipe is the way to go or the borla with the racing y pipe any suggestions anybody???

Borla imo. Sounds the best, lasts the longest, looks the best.

I have RacingLine y-pipe and stillen catback exhaust. Sound great together. Not super loud. Best way I can describe it is as a sound that's still appropriate for the car still. I mean that in a good way. Hard to really get good opinions from most people here (myself included) because most people don't have experience with 4 or 5 different brands. They have experience with one aftermarket brand compared to OEM. So, in my case, I really can't tell you if my Stillen is better than the borla or not. I just know I like it. Know what I mean?

The y-pipe will have very little effect on the sound. Muffler chamber design and size will have the biggest impact.

@ serpent I really appreciate your honest opinion I would like to hear in person other than youtube almost all exhaust systems sound alike some better than others and some worse than other lol

Trailer54, there's a video on YouTube of a white or silver max in Dubai with the Megan exhaust. It's sounds amazing!! Have you seem it? If so does your setup sound the same? I'm curious to see if the middle eastern cars sound different compared to US models.

From the youtube clips I have seen, I really like the Stillen exhaust. It has enough of an increased sound, but not overly loud and crap sounding. I don't want my car sounding like a honda civic with a fart can exhaust

I agree with you on that I don't want a rice burner no offense to anyone who likes the sound in my early teens I had one and just got tired of the far can when I was rolling around at about 30min
